We stand behind qualifying new residential plumbing installations with a 5-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to equipment and materials. Coverage is subject to the written warranty terms.

A service only qualifies if the estimate or invoice specifically identifies it as covered by the 5-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty.
LEGAL DEFINITION OF A QUALIFYING NEW INSTALLATION:
“A Qualifying New Residential Installation means a complete new fixture, appliance, equipment unit, plumbing system, or clearly defined continuous section of piping supplied and installed by the contracting LocalPro company and specifically identified as covered on the customer’s written estimate or invoice. Installing a new part, fitting, valve, component, coupling, repair section, or rerouted line as part of a limited repair does not make the work a Qualifying New Residential Installation.”
WORK THAT DOES NOT RECEIVE FIVE YEARS:
- Spot or localized pipe repairs
- Slab-leak reroutes
- Partial water, sewer or gas-line replacements
- Valve, cartridge, seal, flange or internal-component replacements
- Toilet, faucet, shower-valve or water-heater repairs
- Rebuilds or adjustments to existing equipment
- Customer-supplied fixtures or equipment
- Drain clearing or stoppage removal
- Hydro-jetting, chain knocking or pipe milling
- Sewer-camera inspections
- Leak detection
- Smoke tests and pressure tests
- Water-heater flushing or descaling
- Inspections and maintenance
- Demolition, excavation, access, restoration, equipment rental or other job add-ons
- Commercial or project work
- Any plumbing, fixture, equipment or connection outside the written covered scope
SPOT-REPAIR DEFINITION:
“A Spot or Limited Repair means work that repairs, patches, reconnects, rebuilds, replaces, relocates or reroutes less than the entire affected plumbing system, fixture, appliance, equipment unit, or clearly defined continuous section of piping. A Spot or Limited Repair remains limited work even when new parts or materials are installed.”
Spot and limited repairs would normally receive a one-year limited repair warranty on the specific repaired area only.
CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PRODUCTS:
Customer-supplied fixtures and equipment do not receive the five-year warranty. Our installation labor may receive a one-year limited workmanship warranty, but LocalPro does not provide an express product warranty on items supplied by the customer.
COMMERCIAL EXCLUSION:
The residential five-year warranty does not apply to commercial projects. Commercial warranties, if any, are governed by the individual proposal, subcontract, purchase order or project agreement.
For the legal page, “Commercial Project” should include work:
- Performed under a subcontract, bid package, purchase order or commercial agreement
- Performed for a general contractor, builder or developer
- Performed for a business, government entity, institution or association
- Involving multifamily common plumbing or a building with five or more dwelling units
- Otherwise identified as commercial or project work on the proposal
WHAT THE FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY COVERS:
The warranty covers material defects caused by LocalPro’s installation workmanship under normal residential use. If we confirm a covered workmanship defect, LocalPro may repair, reperform or replace the affected portion of our work.
WHAT IT DOES NOT COVER:
- Equipment or product defects
- Manufacturer failures
- Existing plumbing we did not replace
- Another failure outside our covered work
- Normal wear or required maintenance
- Customer-supplied products
- Misuse, abuse or neglect
- Work altered or repaired by others
- Water quality, corrosion, scale, sediment or electrolysis
- Excessive or inadequate pressure
- Freezing, flooding, hurricanes, lightning or power surges
- Roots, grease, wipes, foreign objects or recurring stoppages
- Ground movement, settlement or soil conditions
- Utility or municipal-system problems
- Drywall, tile, paint, cabinets, countertops, flooring, concrete, asphalt or landscaping unless specifically included
- Commercial work
- Consequential or indirect losses to the extent allowed by law
ADDITIONAL:

- Verbal statements by technicians or salespeople cannot change the written warranty.
- The warrantor is only the licensed LocalPro contracting company identified on the customer’s estimate and invoice.
